Infiniti Reports Best Calendar Year Ever
Boasting the best sales year in its 11-year history, Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America (NNA), reported total 2000 calendar year sales of 78,351 units, a 7.9 percent increase versus 1999. NNA sales for calendar year 2000, including Nissan and Infiniti divisions, totaled 752,088 units, an 11.1 percent increase versus the previous year. Combined, December sales for the divisions were 55,552 units, a 5.2 percent decrease versus December 1999.
