In January 2013, Hyundai Construction Equipment launched a new web site at hceamericas.com. Compared to the previous site, launched in 2009, the new web site has improved design and added functionality.
The new Hyundai Construction web site provides several different and convenient ways visitors can access spec information on the various models of construction and forklift equipment. After choosing a model, the visitor can:

Review the machine’s key specs (operating weight, net power, bucket breakout)
Access more in-depth information (performance, engine specs, hydraulics, dimensions, bucket information, and more.)
Download a product brochure for any model of equipment.
Visitors researching construction equipment specifically can also:
Compare a Hyundai model to up to two competitive models and then export the product comparison.
Customize the specs on a machine with the Choose Your Specs tab and then submit the information to their local dealer for pricing.
Hyundai customers will benefit from the resources and information available in the Parts and Service section. Customers can educate themselves on the appropriate lubricants for specific machines, access safety tips, apply for a warranty, and download operator manuals. Customers can also login to Hi-Mate, Hyundai’s proprietary remote management system.
Visitors looking for a Hyundai Construction Equipment or Forklift dealer in their area will appreciate the user-friendly functionality of the upgraded dealer locator. The web site has a map showing certified dealers and they can be searched by country and/or type. Users can also enter a ZIP code to generate a list of dealers near them.

“Our objective with our new web site was to offer visitors an improved experience compared to the previous site with cleaner design, simpler navigation and an overall improved experience,” says Shane Sirmons, National Sales & Marketing Manager, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas. “Plus, we've beefed up the spec information in our product section, which is really why visitors come to our site.”
Hyundai’s North American headquarters in Norcross, GA, along with its Elk Grove location outside Chicago, gives the company two strategically-located parts depots for quick fulfillments of dealer and customer orders.
Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), Hyundai Construction Equipment’s parent company, has instilled its philosophy – “quality before and after the sale” – throughout all divisions. HHI invests heavily in construction equipment R&D, building state-of-the-art production facilities around the world. Hyundai is ISO 9001 certified and is a perennial winner of numerous Korean construction-equipment design awards.
