The Toyota Prius is now available to rent from city and airport locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, and Perth.
Michel Taride, Group President, Hertz International, said: "Globally we are constantly looking for initiatives that reduce environmental impacts. The Green Collection highlights this commitment and features vehicles that reduce CO2 emissions to a practicable minimum."
Chris Rusden, Regional Vice President, Hertz Australia and New Zealand, added: "Sustainable business practices are extremely important to us, and we're proud to expand the Green Collection in Australia with the Toyota Prius. The fuel-efficient vehicle is the ideal rental solution for drivers concerned about the environment and high fuel prices, while also looking for style, comfort and uncompromised performance."
