2013-MY Cadillac ATS

GM announced MSRP for its all-new 2013-MY Cadillac ATS, which it said will start at $33,990, including destination charges. The automaker said it plans to offer the ATS in three versions, a base model with a 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine, a mid-level model with an all-new 2.0L turbocharged engine, and a version with a 320 hp (preliminary) 3.6L V-6 engine.

The automaker hasn't announced official fuel-economy figures yet but said highway fuel economy will top 30 mpg.

The mid-level model will cost $35,795 MSRP, including destination, and will offer automatic and manual transmissions, and rear- or all-wheel drive.

The top-end model will cost $42,090, including destination, will come with an automatic transmission and standard content that includes CUE, leather eight-way power seats with memory, adaptive start, and other features. The company said all-wheel drive will be available for this model. For the 3.6L model, Cadillac expects it to have a 0-60 mph acceleration time of below six seconds.

Cadillac added that its new CUE user interface, which is standard on most ATS models, offers the first automotive use of capacitive touch, which is used on most smartphones and tablet computers.

The ATS is assembled at Cadillac’s Lansing Grand River plant, according to GM.
