German Models Dominate Leasing’s “Most Wanted”
The Infiniti G35 leads the pack in new car leasing again, though the Germans are hot on its tailpipe. Automobile Consumer Services, Inc. (ACS), a company that provides online direct-to-consumer auto leasing released a list of the top 10 most requested new and used vehicles from its auto leasing website for the first quarter of 2004. The Japanese luxury model remained in the number one spot in new car leasing for the fifth straight quarter. But German vehicles dominate both lists, grabbing five of the top ten spots for new car leases and nine of ten spots for used car leases. Corvette, the only domestic model on either list, slipped slightly, perhaps in anticipation of the redesigned 2005 model coming out in August.
