Ford Powertrain Team Announces Expanded Call Center Service
Installers will be able to order engines and transmissions, with same or next-day delivery.
Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) has launched an expanded Ford Powertrain Sales Call Center located in Dearborn, Mich. Now, independent installers servicing Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles will be able to order Ford and Motorcraft New and Remanufactured engines and transmissions through the Call Center. Powertrain installers will be able to order gas and diesel engines and transmissions by calling the Ford Powertrain Sales Call Center, toll-free at 1-800-392-7946. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., ET, Monday through Friday. The new Ford Powertrain Sales Call Center is part of the Total Value Package for Ford and Motorcraft Remanufactured powertrain assemblies, and includes:
3-year/75,000-mile limited warranty on gas engines and transmissions; 2-year unlimited mileage, limited warranty on diesel engines

Vehicle-specific part number application The Ford Powertrain Team works with 44 distribution centers and 130 Ford and Lincoln Mercury powertrain stocking Dealers coast-to-coast, with 35,000 assemblies warehoused at any given time, ready to be shipped the day an order is placed, or the very next day. This ensures installers are able to use parts designed specifically for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.
