Ford Offers 0% Financing for 60 Months on Escape Hybrid

Ford announced on Thursday it is offering interest free loans on its Escape hybrid and Mariner hybrid sport-utes, Reuters reports. Sales of Ford hybrid SUVs rose 7 percent in Q1 compared to a year ago and increased 17 percent in March 2006 from the previous month. Ford says it will offer at least seven more hybrid models by the end of the decade, accounting for 250,000 total hybrid sales. Last year Ford built 19,000 hybrid vehicles in North America and sold 17,000. The program will end on July 5.
