FLD Names Laurie Conn Chief Operating Officer
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -– Laurie Conn has been named chief operating officer for FLD, Inc., a national vehicle remarketing company. Conn was promoted by management today for her commitment to the growth of the company and her record for outstanding success. “It is hard to find an executive like Laurie Conn in this industry,” said FLD President Ron Sanders. “We are very fortunate to have had someone with her knowledge of remarketing and her drive for success as a part of our team for more than two decades. This is a well deserved promotion and we’re excited to continue to build our executive leadership around such expertise.” Conn was hired in 1983 and worked her way up through the organization, learning in detail each facet of the industry as she grew with the company. Conn has had hands on experience in every area of the business and was most recently operations manager for FLD, Inc. Remarketing revolves around knowing the industry, the trends and the hot markets, and Conn plays a major role in keeping track of each. Committed to growing the industry and staying ahead of trends, Conn continues to learn about her profession and advocates others do the same. She recently earned a certification from the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) and is on the organization’s Education Committee. She is also on the Board of Directors of AWARE, Advancing Women in Automotive Retail Enterprises. Conn earned her MBA from Florida Atlantic University and is originally from Queens, N.Y.
