DOE Lists Top 10 Fuel-Efficient 2012-MY Vehicles

WASHINGTON - The 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV came in first, with an mpg of 112 combined. All of the vehicles that achieved top fuel-economy ratings are electric or hybrid vehicles.

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) FuelEconomy.gov website listed the top 10 2012-MY vehicles by fuel efficiency. The 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV came in first, with an mpg of 112 combined. All of the vehicles that achieved top fuel-economy ratings are electric or hybrid vehicles, although a number of gasoline-fueled vehicles are actually not too far behind in the top 10 list.
