DaimlerChrysler Services (DCS) Truck Finance, a business unit of DaimlerChrysler Services North America, announced a donation of $5,000 to the Chicago based Public Action to Deliver Shelter, Inc. (P.A.D.S.) to support the organization’s "Tent City" program. In addition, DCS Truck Finance also donated a commercial outdoor grill and grilling accessories to help provide meals to homeless and at-risk individuals and families participating in the program. "The services offered by P.A.D.S. are vital to our community," said Klaus Entenmann, vice president – DaimlerChrysler Services Truck Finance. "They provide a solid foundation for people to build a life of positive change. We are proud to be a part of their social commitment to enhance the quality of life for homeless individuals and those at-risk of becoming homeless." Funds for the donation were partly raised during the DCS Truck Finance 10-year Anniversary celebration. The event marked the 1993 opening of the office in Lisle, Ill., which serves as the company’s national headquarters for commercial vehicle financing in the U.S. P.A.D.S "Tent City" program runs from April to October and provides safe and hospitable shelter through the support of staff, volunteers and community groups.
