Based on the company's Fusion platform, 20/20 Delivery is a wireless logistics application that provides complete visibility into the supply chain, from package and vehicle tracking to driver management and communication. Corporate Express, a Buhrmann Company, one of the world's largest business-to-business suppliers of essential office and computer products and services, plans to deploy 20/20 Delivery, across its entire U.S. fleet of more than 1,600 trucks. In doing so, Corporate Express joins several other companies and government agencies that have chosen 20/20 Delivery as their wireless logistics solution, according to the company. According to the company, Aether 20/20 Delivery uses hand held computers in lieu of clipboards to monitor driver and vehicle productivity. Real-time package and delivery information is wirelessly delivered to the company's back-end data system, helping improve customer service and payment cycles. Two-way messaging allows drivers and operations personnel to communicate with each other in real time, whether they need to confirm special delivery instructions or cancel orders in progress.
