The refreshed 2018 Toyota Camry will offer three new, more fuel efficient, powertrains and features an updated design.
The three powertrain options on the 2018 Camry include a 206-hp 2.5-liter inline-four-cylinder D-4S gasoline engine, a 301-hp 3.5-liter V-6 with D-4S Fuel Injection, and a Toyota Hybrid System (THS II), according to the automaker. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V-6 are paired to an eight-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission (8AT).

Fuel economy for the 2.5-liter four-cylinder is an EPA-estimated 29 mpg in the city, 41 mpg on the highway, and 34 mpg combined. The combined mpg is a 26% improvement over the previous model, according to Toyota.
Meanwhile, the 3.5-liter V-6 offers an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, and 26 mpg combined, which is an increase of 8% for combined mpg over the previous V-6.
The 2018 Camry is the eighth generation of sedans from Toyota with an updated design, and will be available in L, LE, XLE, SE, and XSE grades, according to Toyota.
Meanwhile, 2018 Camry Hybrids are available in LE, SE, and XLE grades. The LE grade vehicles are rated at 51 mpg in the city and 53 mpg on highways, a 30% increase over the previous model. SE and XLE offers 44 mpg in the city and 47 on highways, with a 21% mpg increase.
The new Camry also comes equipped with an Entune 3.0 multimedia system on all models. Entune offers a GPS link with improved map accuracy, wireless downloads of updated roads, and Remote Connect functionality. Remote Connect allows drivers to monitor vehicle status, find their vehicle, and remote start. A JBL audio system with a 10.1-inch subwoofer is also standard.

Pricing for the 2018 Camry begins at $23,495 for L-grade models, with the Premium XSE V-6 valued at $34,950.
