General Motors announced it will price its 2013-MY Buick Verano Turbo luxury sedan at an MSRP of $29,990, including a destination charge of $885.
This model of the Verano comes with an Ecotec 2.0L four-cylinder engine with direct injection and continuously variable valve timing. The engine is capable of producing an SAE-certified 250 horsepower at 5,300 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,000 rpm. EPA-estimated fuel economy for the Verano Turbo is 20/31 mpg with a six-speed manual transmission available as a no-cost option. According to GM, the company began selling the Verano in November 2011. The automaker introduced the vehicle with a 2.4L Ecotec four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission and standard voice-activated IntelliLink. The 2013 model of the Verano features a rear-view camera as a standard feature.
With the Verano Turbo, GM’s Buick brand will offer three different models with turbocharged engines and optional six-speed manual transmissions, including the Regal Turbo and Regal GS luxury sport sedans. In addition, the 2013-MY Buick Encore luxury crossover, which goes on sale early next year, will feature a standard turbocharged engine.
