Chrysler unveiled its 2014-MY Ram ProMaster full-size van at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The ProMaster features a 3.0L inline four-cylinder EcoDiesel engine or a Pentastar V-6. Each can be matched with a six-speed automatic transmission or an electronically controlled six-speed automated manual transmission. General Motors introduced its 2014-MY Cadillac ELR, an extended-range electric vehicle (similar to the Volt) slated to go on sale in early 2014. The vehicle features a 1.4L gasoline generator and electric motors for propulsion, and GM said the Cadillac ELR has an all-electric range of 35 miles.
