Xantrex has added the Freedom X 3000 to its line of Freedom X line of sine wave inverters, rated at 3,000 watts.

The Freedom X 3000 was designed for use in service and utility trucks, cable vans, boom trucks, and lift trucks. It provides power to handle heavy motor loads such as air compressors and other power tools.

The inverter works with high voltage alternators up to 18 volts DC and features an ignition control, which controls inverter operation through the vehicle’s ignition circuit. When powering heavy loads, it can handle two seconds of surge up to 6,000 watts and can do so at temperatures of up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Freedom X 3000 has quick connect AC terminals for fast, reliable and easy wiring. The inverter can be hardwired or installed with an optional GFCI outlet, designed for a work vehicle or commercial truck with a large battery bank.
