TORRINGTON, CT - Borgeson Universal Company announces its newest steering offering for Dodge truck owners, the "Dodge Box." This new steering box addresses and fixes a common problem found in the 1994-2002 2nd generation Dodge Ram pick-ups. The OEM steering box has a casting that is insufficient and will distort over time, resulting in steering wander, according to the company.
Borgeson has remanufactured a modern Delphi 680 series power steering gearbox to replace the early 60s Saginaw technology used in the Dodge pick-ups. The new Borgeson Dodge Box offers a larger piston diameter for more available power assist, quicker ratio for easier parking and less turns lock-to-lock, and modern variable valve that allows for stable highway driving and effortless parking and maneuvering.
The Borgeson Dodge Box will bolt directly to the stock mounting location, fit the original pitman arm, and even work with stock hoses and pumps. The Borgeson Dodge Box will include an adapter to work with all Borgeson replacement steering shafts; a Borgeson steering shaft is required for installation of this steering box, or an orientation flat must be ground to use the stock shaft.
