JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corporation business and a global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, has rebranded its micro-sized electric scissor lifts, the ES1330M and ES1530M (previously the ES1330L and ES1530L).
These new models join the ES1930M, expanding JLG’s micro-sized scissor lift lineup in North America, to offer compact, lightweight, and electric-powered machines engineered for indoor and outdoor use in confined spaces and on sensitive flooring.
Compact Design for Challenging Spaces
The new ES1330M and ES1530M micro-sized models provide purpose-built solutions for equipment users needing to work at height on construction, remodeling, and facility maintenance projects in restricted access areas, such as data centers, hospitals, libraries, museums, and commercial facilities.
JLG said these models are also well-suited for fit-out and finish work, such as painting and installing HVAC, electrical, fire suppression, IT infrastructure, and signage/décor.
Key Features of the New Telehandlers
Key features include:
Zero turning radius: Enables exceptional maneuverability in tight areas
Fixed rails that fit through standard doorways: Ensures easy access without compromising structural integrity
Leak containment system now standard: Helps protect delicate flooring by capturing potential hydraulic leaks with custom-fit trays
Lightweight design: Weighing under 2,000 pounds, these lifts can be used across weight-sensitive flooring and fit into freight elevators. This allows trades crews to operate multiple machines in one area at the same time
Advanced onboard technology: Includes JLG’s exclusive load-sensing system for zero-weight load calibration, variable tilt functionality to maximize the machines’ work envelopes when working on slight slopes and ClearSky Smart Fleet IoT (Internet of Things) platform for enhanced machine connectivity and diagnostics
Specs for the ES1330M & ES1530M
ES1330M specs are:
Platform height: 13 feet
Platform capacity: 500 pounds
Machine dimensions: 30 inches x 56.2 inches
Machine weight: 1,984 pounds
Turning radius: Zero
Occupant rating: two indoor, one outdoor
ES1530M specs are:
Platform height: 15 feet
Platform capacity: 500 pounds
Machine dimensions: 30 inches x 56.2 inches
Machine weight: 1,940 pounds
Turning radius: Zero
Occupant rating: one
Productivity-Enhancing Options
Operators can customize their JLG micro-sized lifts with a growing suite of optional accessories, including an enclosed, four-rail integrated mid-rail deck (coming soon), a hostile environment package, a multi-display indicator to quickly view the machine’s battery life and any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), SkySense enhanced detection system, and lithium-ion batteries.
