Workhorse Group has secured approval from the IRS as a qualified manufacturer, under 30D(d)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, for the Commercial Clean Vehicle Credit.
Thanks to this certification, Workhorse customers stand to benefit from a substantial credit of up to $40,000 for all Workhorse vehicle deliveries occurring in 2023 and beyond.
Workhorse Group Gains IRS Approval
Rick Dauch, CEO of Workhorse, expressed their commitment to spearheading the transition toward commercial electric vehicles to enhance the efficiency of last-mile deliveries while minimizing environmental impact.
He added, "We are delighted that the IRS acknowledges the inherent sustainability of our commercial EVs. We eagerly anticipate extending this credit to our customers as we continue to provide dependable, high-quality, all-electric commercial vehicles."
