TRP has added 35 part numbers to provide comprehensive coverage for medium-duty, Class 6-8 truck and trailer applications. TRP Hydraulic Shocks are engineered for industry-leading performance and as a direct replacement for original equipment shocks.

“The expansion of the TRP product line shows our commitment to growing the TRP brand and building on the reputation we have developed for quality, value and reliability in all-makes replacement parts,” said Chris Scheel, PACCAR Parts senior director of marketing.

TRP Hydraulic Shocks are engineered as a direct replacement for original equipment shocks. Hydraulic shock absorbers provide dampening action by transferring oil under pressure through valves, which restrict the oil flow. Internal valve technology provides a high-quality ride. The shocks also reduce wear-and-tear on other costly suspension and vehicle parts.

Some features of the new TRP Hydraulic Shocks include hardened and super-finished chrome piston rods, which diminish seal wear and corrosion, cold-formed eyering and mounts for improved durability, a hydraulic rebound stop to prevent shocks from topping out and suspensions from overextending, and a multi-lip piston seal that improves fluid retention and provides longer life.

TRP Shocks are competitively priced making them the best value shock in the market. In addition, TRP offers a full line of products for superior suspension performance that includes torque rods, air springs, height control valves and more. TRP also has a full line of gas shocks in its suspension line with three adjustable settings for an optimal ride.
