New truck registrations across the European Union grew by 3.5% last year compared to 2017.
Full-year results were diverse among the five key EU markets. France, Italy and Germany posted positive results in 2018, but truck demand fell in the UK and Spain.
More 2.6 million commercial vehicles were produced in the European Union in 2018, a big jump since the 2009 47.8% drop in year-over-year numbers.
