TODCO introduces the “coolest” new member of its roll-up door family: the TODCOLD refrigerated door. Designed to help protect cargo, save energy, and reduce a fleet's overall cost per mile, TODCOLD reefer doors are available in 1-1/8- or 2-1/2-inch thickness with 1- or 2-inch track options.
The exterior surface features a polyaspartic painted top coat and an improved veil material for a smoother surface finish, according to the company. In addition, TODCOLD provides tough protection against rust with EverWare coated hardware, inside and out. The rollers are TODCO’s new SupeRollers, with nylon composite wheels and nylon composite coated shafts for maximum corrosion resistance. The counterbalance assembly is also e-coated for extra protection against the elements and the cold.
TODCOLD refrigerated doors are also equipped with the company’s new Hold Open Door Keeper, a hinged bottom roller holder that allows the door to rest in the open position, behind the header. This provides maximum height clearance as well as guarding against door damage during loading/unloading.
Final touches include quick-snap dual durometer PVC EZ Side Seals, removable roller end-hinges, and an aluminum bottom angle.
