Thermo King has introduced the Precedent S-750i trailer refrigeration unit, its latest innovation in transport refrigeration for long-haul and local food distribution. Electrification, integrated shore power, embedded telematics, and a lower-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant all contribute to Thermo King’s efforts in helping customers transition fleets to reduce their environmental impact and stay ahead of future regulation.
Using the S-Series engine, the S-750i meets current and proposed California Air Resources Board (CARB) Ultra-Low Emission Transport Refrigeration Unit (ULETRU) emissions without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
The enhanced operational efficiencies of the S-750i leverage the proven performance and reliability of Thermo King’s Precedent platform and introduce several new first use features. These include a three-speed engine, which optimizes efficiencies at fresh and frozen; a next-generation control system, which offers precise temperature control; and a diesel electric architecture optimized for shore power integration, which makes the S-750i an ideal investment for customers using or considering shore power operation long-term.

Every S-750i trailer unit also comes equipped with TracKing telematics to deliver data and does so for the first 12 months of ownership with no service charge. Telematics can help fleet owners monitor temperature, offers rapid alarm detection and security alerts when the doors are opened, and detects fuel loss.
