SumoSprings Solo suspension kits are designed to enhance ride, reduce body roll and eliminate sudden bottoming out on Ford's Transit full-size cargo vans, wagons, cutaways, and chassis cabs.
The SumoSpring Solos function like air bags, by filling the gap between a vehicle's axle and frame. They won’t leak and require no compressor, lines or maintenance. Also, the SumoSprings Solo can be installed with in-house, standard tools.
The Solos feature a simple, one-piece design made of a proprietary microcellular urethane. They replace the Transit’s shorter factory bump stop and are installed using existing mounting holes in the frame.
The SumoSprings Solo comes in three different kits to ensure compatibility with any of the Transit’s variety of configurations which range from regular wheelbase van to an extended length, high-roof wagon and include chassis cab and cutaway models. Users can also select one of two urethane densities for each kit, depending on the vehicle's intended use.
