Stellar, a manufacturer of mechanic trucks and cranes, tire service trucks, hooklifts, roll-off cable hoists, trailers, and service truck and van accessories, now offers products for service van upfits. This makes for an easier, more affordable way for customers to service light duty equipment.

“The upfit options will feature the popular heavy-duty tool box system with a workbench top so technicians can easily work in the van," Tim Worman, senior product manager at Stellar, said.

The upfit options turn a Transit Van and Sprinter Van into a service van by adding an air supply, service system, and storage for tools and parts. The aluminum lube skid addition is complete with three, 30-gallon fresh oil tanks with 50-inch reels, a 60-gallon salvage oil tank and accompanying 25 ft. air reel, a 50 ft. air reel and a filter drain drawer.

The new heavy-duty toolbox and workbench is designed with a steel cabinet, aluminum T-handle drawers, and a butcher block top. This is durable enough for the operator to perform work on the bench without damaging the drawer set. At 56 in. wide and 20 in. deep, the operator has ample room to complete simple tasks from the comfort and convenience of their van.
