Rislone EZ Nozzle
Rislone introduces its patent-pending EZ Nozzle additive delivery system. When inserted into a capless or obstructed fuel tank, the EZ Nozzle opens the fuel system safety door and allows the additive to flow in neatly, with no spilling and no additional equipment required.

Approximately 15 million cars and light trucks in North America are equipped with capless or “obstructed” fuel tanks. The number of these vehicles is expected to nearly double by 2015 and will continue to grow in the years ahead. Vehicle manufacturers promote these systems for their convenience at the pump, environmental benefits and protection against fuel theft.
They do have one big drawback, though: They make it difficult for consumers to install fuel additives. These fuel systems are designed to open only when a fuel nozzle or special adapter/funnel is inserted. None of the fuel additive bottles currently on the market will open the system’s safety door. As a result, car forums are awash with stories of vehicle owners trying to install their favorite additives into their fuel tanks and instead pouring the chemicals down the sides of the vehicles.
Rislone has the solution.
Rislone, a producer of vehicle additives since 1921, introduces its patent-pending EZ Nozzle additive delivery system. When inserted into a capless or obstructed fuel tank, the EZ Nozzle opens the fuel system safety door and allows the additive to flow in neatly, with no spilling and no additional equipment required. EZ Nozzle is built right into the top of the bottles used for Rislone’s new Super Concentrated line of fuel additives. Simply remove the childproof outer cap and slide the EZ Nozzle directly into the fuel opening. It is guaranteed to work in all vehicles. Once the product is installed, simply throw the bottle away. No need to return a dirty funnel to the vehicle’s trunk.
U.S. manufacturers currently producing vehicles with various capless fuel systems include Ford, Lincoln, Cadillac, Chrysler and Dodge. No other chemical company’s fuel additive bottles will work unaided with all of these systems, according to Rislone.
Rislone anticipates the demand for its EZ Fuel-equipped products will continue to grow. Due to increasingly stringent EPA emissions regulations, nearly every automaker is expected to move to capless or obstructed fuel systems across their product lines in the next five to six years.
Rislone’s new Super Concentrated line of six ounce fuel additives packaged in the patent-pending EZ Nozzle bottles will start hitting store shelves first quarter 2013.
