The Model 8630 is part of the Evolution line of products. It has a new ring of outer optics to improve beam-pattern effectiveness.
The Model 8630 LED headlights are a replacement solution for 5.75-inch sealed-beam headlights. The new headlight features both daytime running lights (DRL) and front-position functionality. It also has a Delphi wire connector for easier installation.
Front position and DRL functions use the outer ring at a high intensity. The low beam uses two marble optics and two "D" lenses at a low intensity. The high beam uses all optics and the outer ring at a low intensity.
