Ingersoll Rand, a provider professional tools and equipment, has released its latest line of IQV20 Series cordless tools and 20-volt lithium-ion batteries. This power-packed product line offers the versatility, convenience and performance rarely seen in cordless tools.
The IQV20 Series 20-volt lithium-ion battery platform allows for all the tools in the line to run longer between charges — giving technicians the ability to complete a full shift on a single charge. Technicians no longer need to worry about a dead or dying battery, but can instead spend more time working and less time recharging. Product engineers designed the system so all current and future cordless tools in the line share the same batteries and chargers, ensuring technicians will always have access to a freshly charged battery.
Cordless tools offer freedom from electrical cords and air hoses, but rarely are they capable of producing enough power to complete the difficult jobs professional technicians face on a daily basis. With 20 volts of power, all tools in the IQV20 Series —W7150 1/2" High-Torque Cordless Impactool™, W5130 3/8" 20V Mid-Torque Impactool and L5110 Cordless LED Task Light — are designed, built and tested for this purpose.
The first Impactool of the series, the W7150 rates best in its class for power-to-size ratio with an impressive 1,100 ft-lb torque and 780 ft-lb reverse torque, is 9.4" from tip to tail and weighs 6.8 pounds. The chemical-resistant, patent-pending metal reinforced housing gives this tool maximum durability, while the lightweight, ergonomic design reduces operator fatigue.
Unveiled at the 2012 SEMA show, the new W5130 3/8” 20V Mid-Torque Impactool is modeled after the W7150, and offers the same high performance and durability, with even more versatility and accessibility for those tighter work spaces. Measuring 6.6" from tip to tail, the W5130 combines its 190 ft-lb torque and small size to accomplish everything from brake repairs to drivetrain jobs with maximum power.
Rounding out the latest tools in the series is the L5110 LED Task Light. Casting 180 lumens and lasting up to 20,000 hours, this LED light will illuminate any dark work space while offering technicians hands-free versatility with a multi-position head, standing base and hang hook. Additional tools will be added to the IQV20 Series portfolio in 2013.
