Honeywell’s Dolphin CT50 is a mobile computer designed to streamline operations and improve worker efficiency in logistics, field service, direct store delivery and warehouse environments.
The CT50 offers a touch interface and software features to improve route efficiency, real-time scheduling and respond to customer requests or requirements. It includes radios for Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity that enable streaming video or video conferencing while on the road.
Featuring imaging hardware and decoding software, the CT50 offers omnichannel bar-code reading and Honeywell says it will offer accessories to support scan-sensitive use cases such as scan handle, docking systems and vehicle cradles for things like printing, payment acceptance and vehicle telematics.
The CT50 can run either Windows 8.1 Handheld or Android 4.4 operating system and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series processor for better performance. It has a 4.7-inch display and a rugged form factor that is IP67 rated to protect from dust and water as well as multiple drops from as high as 5 feet.
