Ford unveiled its third-generation 2019 Transit Connect Wagon at the Chicago Auto Show. The compact passenger van adds new powertrains, an eight-speed transmission, and more standard safety equipment. Read the full story here. Photos courtesy of Ford.


Mercedes-Benz unveiled its third-generation Sprinter in Duisburg, Germany, as a versatile full-size van with a factory telematics package that will arrive in the U.S. later this year.


Ford improved the fuel efficiency of its F-150 pickups for 2018, including the base XL fitted with the 3.3-liter non-turbo V-6 that now reaches 20 mpg as a rear-wheel driver.


Chevrolet held its 100-year truck anniversary from Dec. 15 to 16 at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. Media and select consumers were able to view vehicles in Chevy's Heritage Fleet, and watch an airdrop of the 2019 Silverado. Photos by Michaela Kwoka-Coleman.

Green vehicles were in shorter supply at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show compared to a year ago. From compact vans to their full-size counterparts, five manufacturers are offering a versatile lineup of cargo and passenger vans for fleets in 2018.


Chanje Energy unveiled its Class 5 battery-electric commercial van at an Oct. 18 media and customer event in Fullerton, Calif.
