Work Truck eXchange 2022: Back Building Connections

OperationsPhotos 13October 19, 2022

Back for its fourth year live and in-person, Work Truck eXchange took place September 28-30 in Phoenix, Arizona.

With a goal to connect light- and medium-duty fleet decision makers with an equally select group of suppliers, the event has been nicknamed “speed dating for fleets,” but that doesn’t even come close to describing this one-of-a-kind networking event.

Eric Bearly, Bobit's president of fleet, welcomed attendees to the fourth Work Truck eXchange.

Attendees were also given time to relax, reconnect with old friends, and make new connections with new ones.

The topics of Safety and Technology were sought-after by attendees. Each table presented their top findings to the group at the end of the discussion.

The most highly regarded and valuable portion of the event is the one-on-one sessions - preset meetings with supplier hosts and one fleet to chat about specific needs and build relationships.

Lubor Ptacek, vice president, product marketing for Motive, provided a keynote speech after lunch.

A panel discussion from members of Work Truck's Editorial Advisory Board brought laughter from panelists and the audience, alike.

Work Truck was excited to welcome fleet manager and supplier hosts back to Arizona for Work Truck eXchange 2023.

A variety of networking opportunities were provided, including roundtable discussions on preset topics.

Work Truck's Executive Editor Lauren Fletcher helped guide attendees through the event and keep them on track with their busy schedules.

In addition to roundtable discussions, fleet managers were provided scheduled focus group sessions with top supplier hosts to find out more about their solutions or offerings.

Tables were filled and the room was abuzz with conversation during Work Truck eXchange's 2023 one-on-one sessions.

Attendees of the 2023 Work Truck eXchange gathered together for a group shot before grabbing lunch.

The final evening reception was held at "Tombstone," a western-themed spot on site that had good BBQ food, live music, and more time to connect.
