Controlling the V plow was intuitive with one-handed controls.

Chevrolet had a Silverado 3500HD available to show how the factory-installed power take-off is used.

Boss also brought some of its other equipment, such as the Boss Forge 1.5 salt spreader.

An integrated engine-block heater outlet on the front driver's side bumper comes standard with a Duramax diesel and is available on the 6.6L gas engine and is placed for easy access with a snow plow. It also eliminates cords hanging out of the hood.

A gas-powered Silverado HD with a long bed and regular cab has a max plow weight rating of 1,200 pounds. A diesel long bed, regular cab 2500HD has a max plow weight rating of 850; a 3500HD single rear-wheel has a max plow weight rating of 980 pounds; and 900 pounds for a 3500HD dually long bed, regular cab.

Boss offers straight, expandable, "V", and rear plow configurations. The DXT plow offers a dual trip design that offers the plow protection from striking obstacles from various positions.

Various spreaders, with varying mounting configurations were on display.

The independent front suspension on the Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD ensures that the ride is comfortable whether the truck is loaded or not.
