Mike Albert's Truck Fest

Mike Albert Fleet Solutions held its third annual Truck Fest event on Sept. 27, 2018, which is designed to showcase the latest fleet upfitting packages, truck-mounted vocational equipment, and OEM chassis. Among the 13 distributors and truck upfitters who exhibited at Truck Fest were Rush Trucks, Dejana, AutoTruck, Supreme, Freightliner, Kaffenbarger, Stahl, Masterack, and Advertising Vehicles. The 2018 Truck Fest is organized by Mike Albert Fleet Solutions. This was the third year the event was held. It is designed to showcase the latest in fleet truck equipment and upfitting options for local fleets operating in the greater Cincinnati metro area.

Local fleet managers and owners had an opportunity to network at Truck Fest with members of the Mike Albert Fleet Solutions Truck Design team and key members of the MAFS sales team.

Representing Auto Truck Group were (L-R) Mike Peterson, director of fleet sales, and Kyle Stipe, project manager.

The Nissan Leaf EV flanked the Chevrolet Bolt EV at the entrance of the Cooper Creek Event Center, the venue of the MAFS employee dinner. The evening event also included a state-of-the-company update and forecast by MAFS President Jeff Hart.

The day prior to the start of Truck Fest, Mike Albert Fleet Solutions (MAFS) held its annual sales and training meeting. Gathered for a group photo  are 42 members of the MAFS sales and client teams which has experienced a strong expansion in size and geographic coverage in the past 12 months. 

Mike Albert Fleet Solutions (MAFS) is a strong proponent of zero-emission vehicles and showcased the battery-electric Chevrolet Bolt at its annual all-employee recognition dinner held the night before Truck Fest.

Mike Albert is expanding into new markets, such as municipal fleets. One popular display was a Ford Explorer police package offered by the Auto Truck Group.

One vehicle on display at Truck Fest was a high-roof Ford Transit van equipped with a Masterack heavy-duty steel rack and bins package specified by fleets performing  severe-duty applications.

MAFS President Jeff Hart (right) networks with Truck Fest attendees. Hart was named president of the fleet leasing and management company in December 2016. MAFS is owned by the Betagole family and Hart is the first non-family member to  be named president.

One of the services highlighted at Truck Fest was Mike Albert Rental. Posing before one of the rental truck is Terri Wallace, executive VP, client experience at MAFS, and Kendra Rupp, director, client development at MAFS.

On display at Truck Fest was Eddington Landscaping, which is a client of MAFS. Owner Camden Eddington started his business seven years ago, which has grown to 11 vans and five trailers.
