Ford added a 1.5L EcoBoost that makes 180 hp.

New optional driver-assist technologies include parallel park assist, a lane-keeping system, adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning with brake support.

With seats folded down, the Escape offers cargo space of 68 cubic feet behind the first row.

The 2017 Escape gets an EPA-rated 28 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city.

Optional 19-inch black aluminum wheels can be added.

The 2017 Escape pairs the SYNC 3 system with SYNC Connect, which is supported by a 4G LTE modem.
