The 2017 Rogue Sport arrives as the U.S. version of the Qashqai, which Nissan offers in Europe.

The event included a demonstration of the optional Around View Monitor. Nissan used cardboard inserts to black out windows.

The Rogue Sport is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four cylinder that makes up to 141 hp.

Even though the Rogue Sport resembles its larger sister, it's shares a modest number of components with the Rogue.

The Rogue Sport provides a lower stance than the Rogue and drives more like a car.

At 172.4 inches, the Rogue Sport is 12.1 inches shorter than the Rogue.

The Rogue Sport offers 66.1 cubic feet of cargo stowage with the second row folded, which is just under 9 cubic feet less than the Rogue.

The Rogue is available only as a two-row compact SUV, while the Rogue offers an available third row.
