Dodge's First Commercial Vehicle
Originally posted on Automotive Fleet

Dodge would begin producing medium-duty and heavy-duty pickups in 1932.

The 1920 Screenside had the same wheelbase as the passenger car, but the chassis was longer, heavier, and sturdier.

The first version of the Screenside offered a mesh screen to keep commercial goods in place. Dodge sold a panel version from 1918-1927.

A sales brochure from the era claimed "Dodge Brothers Business Cars offer a definitive solution of the light transportation problem."

Dodge sold 9,064 Screenside vehicles to the public.
