The U.S. Department of Homeland Security - TSA hosted a session regarding security threats against fleet safety, which featured an activity that allowed attendees to search fleet vehicles for mock improvised explosive devices.

Ford showed off its automatic braking technology with the Ford Fusion during the vehicle safety and technology showcase at the conference. Also on display was in-vehicle technology from Alcolock and Mobileye.

Karen Spring, road transportation manager, Shell, was the speaker for the closing keynote on how to create a successful corporate safety culture. The presentation focused on Shell's journey for eliminating fleet fatalities.
