On Tuesday, Bobit Business Media announced 40 Sustainability All-Star honorees.

Mindy Mize of the North Central Texas Council of Governments moderated Tuesday's OEM panel. Panelists included representatives from Hino Trucks, Mercedes-Benz USA, Mitsubishi Motor Sales, Audi of America, and BMW North America.

Informational and educational sessions allowed attendees to learn about alt-fuel technologies and strategies.

Colleen Crowninshield from the Pima Association of Governments moderated a panel where fleet managers shared real-world AFV experiences and concerns.

Richard Battersby from the University of California, Davis, spoke about grants and funding opportunities for alt-fuel fleets.

Tulsa, Okla., Mayor Dewey Bartlett opened the conference with a discussion of Tulsa's sustainability initiatives.

Monday's keynote speaker, John Schaaf of Johnson Controls, spoke about the company's battery power solutions.

Panelists from GM, Ford, Toyota, and Honda spoke about their companies' sustainability offerings and efforts.

During a concurrent session, Bill Burns, fleet operations manager, spoke about the City of Columbus' process of constructing a CNG fueling station.

Kevin Campbell, City of Chicago, spoke about how the city improved customer satisfaction by reducing fleet size.
