Steve Harned, general manager of U.S. Bank Voyager Fleet Systems Inc., announced on March 15 a new position within the Voyager staff. David Alpha has been appointed as the Merchant Acceptance national account manager. As national account manager, David will be responsible for expanding Voyager's card acceptance base and coordinating the implementation of new partners accepting the Voyager card to ensure a smooth product launch. Current partners will also benefit by having a relationship manager who can advise them of new services and offer consultation on how to maximize the benefits of the Voyager program, according to Tracie Eckelberg, product and marketing coordinator at U.S. Bank. Eckelberg said the Voyager card is also accepted at more than 157,000 retail locations in all 50 states and provides comprehensive fleet management information services to commercial businesses and government agencies.
