Mercedes-Benz Debuts Plug-In Hybrid Concept Van

Mercedes-Benz presented the Concept Vision e Plug-in Hybrid Concept minivan at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The seven-seat vehicle is powered by a four-cylinder gasoline engine with an output 210 hp and 258 lb.-ft. as well as an electric motor that brings in an additional 122 hp and 251 lb.-ft. The overall power output is 333 hp and 443 lb.-ft. of torque, according to the company.
Drivers can switch between four different modes such as Hybrid, E-Mode, E-Save and Charge with a selector switch.
The van styling is on the sportier side with 20-inch wheels. The interior of the van features a panoramic sliding sunroof with Magic Sky Control. Executive seats are equipped with a three-stage heating and ventilation system and a relaxing massage feature for additional comfort.
The Vision e concept also has two foldable tables and two iPad holders integrated into the driver and front-passenger seat backrests. The van also has USB ports, an SD card slot and a 220-V and 12-V socket.
Mercedes-Benz has said the van would appeals to consumers and commercial customers.
