Baughman will also discuss how data must be implemented in a successful EV transition strategy. Finally, he will provide a glimpse into our self-driving future and how fleets play a key role.
Baughman oversees the sales, strategy, and product marketing for Ford Pro Vehicles, which includes Ford’s lineup of Class 1-7 commercial internal combustion and battery electric vehicles, Ford Pro Service Elite and Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Centers. “With Ford investing $30 billion in electrification in the coming years, Tim is playing a critical part in leading the launch, adoption, and integration of Ford Pro electric vehicles for fleets,” said Chris Brown, conference chair. “His address will provide context to Ford’s electrification strategy for fleets. This is one seminar fleet operators won’t want to miss.”
The opening keynote, "The Electrification Path Forward for Fleets," will take place on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 10am. The 2021 Fleet Forward Conference, the only mobility event dedicated specifically for fleets, convenes Nov. 10-12 at the Hayes Mansion in San Jose.
Netradyne has launched its Customer Obsession Tour to celebrate 10 years in business, connecting with fleets nationwide and showcasing its AI-powered safety and fleet management platform.
San Jose's Hayes Mansion was the site for the in-person Fleet Forward Conference, where hundreds came together to talk about fleet mobility, data, electrification, autonomous vehicles, and more.
Steve Hornyak, chief revenue officer of BrightDrop, will deliver the closing keynote, capping a schedule that includes 18 seminars, nine networking opportunities, and Innovation in Motion, a vehicle ride-and-drive and technology demo showcase.
The van is part of the conference’s Innovation in Motion, sponsored by Element — a new, interactive experience featuring EV ride and drives, technology displays, and autonomous vehicle demonstrations.
Roush CleanTech’s Zero-Emission Battery Electric Vehicle will be available during Innovation in Motion, where attendees can experience and drive the latest electric vehicles and technologies for fleet.
Moderated by Jim Press, former COO of Toyota North America, experts from the commercial vehicle, fintech, and automotive investment sectors will discuss forward-thinking solutions at the 2021 Fleet Forward Conference.
At the 2021 Fleet Forward Conference, this seminar— by fleet managers, for fleet managers — will arm attendees with battle-tested answers from actual electric vehicle infrastructure implementations.
The virtual conference presented deep dives on how data is fostering intelligent fleets. The seminars, panel discussions, and networking sessions covered connected cars, electrification suitability, OEM-embedded modems, telematics market trends, the rise of third-party data integrators, the migration to 5G, and video telematics.
