ARI Announces Six Promotions

Automotive Resources International (ARI), which bills itself as the world's largest privately-held fleet leasing and management company, has announced six promotions. Bob White has been promoted to director of fleet services. In this position, he will be responsible for overseeing all of ARI's Fleet Service Department programs, including maintenance, fuel, accident, safety and fringe benefit management services. White, who has been with ARI since 1989, served in a number of positions at the company prior to his promotion, including manager of fleet services, manager of technical support services and assistant manager of insurance services. Tim McHugh has been promoted to manager of fleet administration. In his new position, he will be responsible for managing ARI's Fleet Administration Department. This includes day-to-day activities, sales support and client satisfaction. McHugh has been with ARI his entire career. Prior to his promotion, he served in a number of positions, including assistant manager of fleet administration, license and title supervisor and fleet administrator. Vincent J. Gordon has been promoted to vice president of sales, West. He will supervise ARI's western sales efforts. Gordon has been with ARI since 1981, and most recently was Western zone manager. Other positions held at ARI include Denver regional manager, Western regional manager and marketing development manager. Tom Donato has been promoted to vice president of sales, North. In this position, he will be responsible for managing ARI's sales fleet throughout the New England area. Donato has been with ARI for 19 years and most recently held the position of zone manager. He has held a variety of other positions, including director of special markets, regional sales manager and fleet services manager. Joseph J. Linden has assumed the position of vice president of sales, South. In his new position, Linden will oversee five regional offices in ARI's Southern zone, including Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Mid-South, Southwest and Puerto Rico. Other positions Linden has held at ARI include regional manager and zone manager. Philip J. Procida has been promoted to vice president, International. In his new position, Procida will continue to be responsible for all international development for ARI, including Canadian operations, ARI's startup in Mexico and the newly-formed global fleet management group. Procida has been with ARI for 14 years. Prior to his promotion, he was director of international operations. His other senior-level positions at ARI include regional vice president, zone manager and client service executived for major accounts.
