Airgo Systems, a manufacturer and distributor of commercial tire monitoring, maintenance and inflation systems and a member of the Dominion Group of Companies, unveiled its flagship solution for the commercial trucking industry. According to the company, the AIRGO® System raises the bar for quality and service among constant tire inflation system offerings. Airgo says its engineering team relied on industry research and ongoing collaboration with the commercial trucking industry to understand how existing systems met or fell short of fleet needs and expectations. As a result, the AIRGO® System features stationary hub components and the only venting process in the industry that does not jeopardize vital wheel end components, says the company. “Airgo Systems understands that existing tire inflation systems do not fully meet the demands of commercial trucking fleets,” said Tony Ingram, president, Airgo Systems. “We bring years of experience to the commercial tire inflation market and are committed to partnering with our customers to ensure we over deliver in terms of value and quality, which is why we back this commitment with an unprecedented five-year unlimited mile warranty.” The company says the AIRGO® System is engineered to provide the safest possible method of transferring air to damaged or compromised tires. A case-hardened steel and carbon graphite rotary seal provides a durable and long-lasting system, says the company. The rotary seal is installed outside the hub and vents externally. External venting eliminates the risk of hub pressurization, which enables fleet maintenance professionals to maintain proper inflation levels without jeopardizing wheel-end components. According to the company, the AIRGO® System has undergone tests including pressure washing, environmental, pressure relief, water immersion, rotary seal wear, flow, and expansion plug, to ensure miles of reliability and years of service in any environment. The design is backed by a five-year, unlimited miles warranty. The AIRGO® System is available immediately to fleets of all sizes at a suggested retail price of $795.00 (tandem axle, eight tire applications). OEM and distributor pricing also is available. Please call toll-free 877-550-6111 for details or visit Airgo Systems on the Web at www.tireinflation.com.
