FCCC Increases Warranty Coverage for Walk-in Vehicles

Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) expands warranty coverage on its walk-in vehicle fleet from the original two-year/24,000-mile coverage to a new three-year/50,000-mile warranty coverage. The warranty will go into effect immediately for all chassis powered by EPA 2010 engines.

Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC), a walk-in van industry leader, will now offer a three-year/50,000-mile extended service warranty on all chassis in its WIV product line.

"FCCC is motivated to provide the highest quality walk-in van chassis options and top warranty coverage in the industry for our customers," said Dave Hoover, senior manager of FCCC customer support. "Walk-in van fleet owners can expect the same first-class customer support from FCCC, now with increased warranty coverage."

The new warranty will cover the entire FCCC WIV product line, including the popular MT-45 chassis and alternative-power chassis, like the new all-electric chassis and the hybrid-electric chassis. The new warranty coverage was expanded from the original two-year/24,000-mile coverage, and will go into effect immediately for all chassis powered by EPA 2010 engines.

Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation manufactures premium chassis for the motorhome, delivery walk-in van, and school bus and shuttle bus markets. Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation is a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America LLC, a Daimler company.
