Elliott Equipment was founded by Dick Elliott in 1948. In the beginning, two aerial device models were available for purchase.

Over the next few years, the Glazer family expanded the HiReach product line and developed a dealer network.

In 2017, the company further expanded its offerings, introducing its Digger Derrick and DockMaster product lines.

In 1992, the company moved to its current location, which included a larger facility to accommodate company growth. By this time, the company was building approximately 400 units per year.

In the 2010s, Elliott Equipment focused on product refinement and quality improvements for taller, lighter, and stronger machines.
