Terex Utilities recently published a Tech Tip about adjusting the demand throttle switch on telescopic aerial devices and overcenter aerial devices.

The company’s Tech Tips are intended to supplement model-specific operation and maintenance manuals, with a focus on single adjustments, repairs, or component replacements.

Tech Tip #67 explains how to adjust the demand throttle switch on an aerial device so the engine speed increases as the hydraulic pressure increases, indicating a requirement for more flow to operate boom functions.

Tech Tips are available on the Terex Utilities website.
