Terex Advance and Doran Manufacturing Join Forces for Tire Safety
Doran Manufacturing's tire monitoring systems improve the safety and cost-effectiveness of ready-mix fleets by delivering real-time alerts for low tire pressure, rapid deflation events, and extreme tire temperatures.
These critical tire data points are seamlessly integrated into the Terex Advance onboard diagnostics screen, empowering drivers to identify any tire-related issues swiftly.
In the event of a tire problem, audible alarms and visual warnings pinpoint the affected tire location, displaying the digital pressure reading.
This proactive approach enhances vehicle safety and reduces tire-related expenses significantly. This heightened tire pressure visibility not only safeguards against run-flat incidents, particularly perilous on construction sites, but also mitigates the need for costly and time-consuming roadside tire replacements.
Elevateing Safety and Yielding Benefits
David Grabner, General Manager of Terex Advance, emphasized the significance of incorporating tire pressure monitoring as a standard feature in all newly manufactured Terex Advance trucks.
He stated that this enhancement elevates safety and yields benefits such as improved fuel efficiency, extended tire lifespan, and reduced maintenance costs.
While searching for a TPM system, Terex Advance sought three key features: proven field durability, the flexibility to relocate sensors between tires without tire dismounting, and seamless integration into their onboard diagnostics system. Doran Manufacturing's solution encompassed all these criteria, making it the natural choice.
Jim Samocki, President of Doran Manufacturing, expressed excitement about providing their monitoring systems to Terex Advance, a well-known and highly respected leader in front discharge mixers. He anticipates a long and fruitful partnership between the two companies.
