Engineered Machined Products’ EMP Power 535A, 28-volt brushless alternator is designed to provide high power and performance while improving efficiency.
The Power 535 delivers 325 amps at idle and is designed to run cooler to achieve longer life. The ground-isolated alternator has an electrical noise suppression feature to provide clean electrical power. It also makes use of the same oversized bearings as EMP’s Power 450 alternator.
The Power 535 has a 4-inch corrosion-resistant air inlet duct to maximize cooling. The alternator is designed for use in transit bus, on-highway, off-highway, power generation and other specialty applications.
