ALBANY, NY – Delmar Learning, a provider of lifelong learning products and services for the health care, technology and trades, and career education markets, has launched a new set of training courses geared toward medium-/heavy-duty truck technicians: the Professional Truck Technician Training Series (PTTTS).

Keeping with the modern technology seen in shops today, the PTTTS courses are available in both CD-ROM and Web-based formats. These courses focus on engaging technicians and optimizing information retention through the use of true-to-life animations and interactivities. This new series covers topics ranging from electricity and electronic systems to preventive maintenance, with each course containing up-to-date theory, application, and diagnostic material.

These courses follow both the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards. To better ensure that the material is understood and best retained, each course contains end-of-section review questions, as well as a comprehensive review at the end of the course, awarding a printable certificate of completion to each user who achieves a score of eighty percent or higher.
