CYPRESS, CA – Toyo Tire Corp. will increase its dealer base price list up to five percent on all medium truck tires effective Jun. 1, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine. The company cited worldwide increases in raw materials, energy, and transportation costs as the reason for the price hike.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. had previously announced that it will raise its commercial tire prices up to five percent on May 1. The Goodyear, Dunlop, and Kelly brands are affected by the increase. In addition, Goodyear raised its OTR tread rubber prices up to five percent on Apr. 2.
