Nine commercial fleet professionals earned NAFA's professional fleet certification, the association announced earlier this year.

The 2018-2019 class of graduates who attained CAFM (Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) consisted of 21 individuals, who were mostly from government agencies.

Commercial fleet professionals included Kelly Berthe, senior business analyst for Tallgrass Energy Partners; Brian Boyd, fleet planner and assistant equipment manager for Kent Power Inc.; Frederic Dube, staff supervisor of mobile equipment with ArcelorMittal Mining Canada G.P.; Sandy Engelke, administrative supervisor for Flagship Facility Services; Ronnie Hightower, fleet services supervisor with Noble Research Institute; Jim Katalinic, senior data strategist for Donlen; Kathy Overly, fleet assistant for ITG Brands; Robert Steinhoff, senior staff accountant for Seneca Companies Inc.; and Hjalmar Tiesenhausen, fleet manager for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.

The class officially closed with the on-site graduation walk at the 2019 Institute & Expo, which took place in April.
